White Christmas?

Two years ago in December, this was the view by our house.  Lots of snow.  Very cold.  Pretty miserable to walk through everyday.  But at least there was snow.

This year?  This year you barely need to wear mittens.  It's a little depressing.  It doesn't really feel like Christmas.  And considering the rest of the depressing news we are hearing every day in this country, it's hard to feel the Christmas spirit.

But we're trying.  We're decorating and shopping and wrapping and crafting.  We're getting there.  And tomorrow we'll embark on a week full of travel and car-rides and family and fun.  And if that doesn't get us into the spirit, I don't know what will.

Do you think it will be a white Christmas?

  1. yes...the snow started here on Christmas Eve before 11:00 pm. Awoke to a light dusting, just enough to make everything look touched by powdered sugar! Gotta love a white Christmas!
