Okay, so technically, it isn't spring. And technically, I can't do any cleaning. But the sub-zero Boston temperatures are making me yearn for warmer days. Is it spring yet? And what's better than planning all the spring cleaning you are going to do, instead of actually doing it? I already have an extensive list.
1. Organize all closets. I have a complicated box/basket system that I'm thinking of enacting. Something along the lines of categorized closets and a paper inventory telling us where everything is. Nick is going to be so happy to hear this.
2. All unfinished house projects finished. Bathroom. Painting. Moulding. Another new HVAC. Any volunteers to help my happy husband?
3. New curtains for all. I bought a ton on sale last month. They are all sitting in a pile in my office. They need to be hemmed. And ironed. And the curtain rods need to be hung. And I need to buy more curtain rods.
4. Buy a new office desk, and sell the two we already have. And paint Nick's dresser so we don't need to buy a new one. No big deal, right?
So maybe it's only a four-point list, but it feels extensive when you read it. And maybe we could finish all these things by the end of spring so we could actually enjoy a summer for once, without having any crazy projects going on. What do you think? Am I asking for too much?

We will come and help! We are trying to do similar things! We should come and work on yours, and then you come and work on ours (or your barn)
ReplyDeleteThis way, both houses get done, and we have great company while we do it!
